Introduce your cell phone

I’m going to talk about my last toy that I bought in Kazakhstan: my cell phone. This is a Samsung mobile (I don’t know the model), it was imported from who knows it .It’s my favourite gadget, wawaweewah! This thing is useful to call everybody, but not only that.

I like it very much because I listen music in it. In addition, I can read and play with it. I can do all of these things since August 2010. For that dates, I bought it in a techno-store so I could listen music while I was traveling.

I use my cell phone when I am on the bus, or when I’m walking. Lots of times I listen to hilarious podcast called Tierra 2, so meanwhile I am walking on the street, I am laughing, then people look at me and their face say something like that: “What happens to this idiot?”

When my dear mobile is lost or I am without it, I have to do something. For example I begin to read, but my mind can start working. In that case, I get carried away by my thoughts, for minutes and minutes and minutes. Thus, I can “fly” while I am on the bus.

If someone told me: “You will never have your mobile again”, I would be angry for days, in fact I could say that “I would kick the dog”. In conclusion, be careful dogs! I feel that they do not care. Dogs would say: “We don’t care!”

Let's see if I can get Satisfaction with this post.

(I can't get no) Satisfaction is one of the most iconic rock's song. It was created in 1965 by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, members of The Rolling Stones. The song belongs to the album Out of Our Heads which was published in 1965.

Rolling Stone magazine published in 2004 a list with The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. In that list, the famous song was located in the second place, under Like a Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan. Wow! It seems that “Rolling Stone/s” trademark is great success' synonymous .

Keith Richards, aka Keef, told about the creation of the melody. He said that woke up in the middle of the night and he recorded the riff in a tape recorder. The next day, he heard the recording and thought that it wasn't a special song, but he heard in the same casette the noise of his snoring (hahahah!).

Many artist have done covers of this great theme. For example the american band Devo did an edition of (I can't get no) Satisfaction in 1978. Women also have done cover of this song. In 1994 PJ Harvey and Björk played Satisfaction in the Brit Awards. Both videos are next.

I like this song beacuse represents the youth's frame of mind. Young people want to change the world, because this isn't enough to them. This song never goes out of style, but....................................who cares!

From Chile: El Mostrador

El Mostrador is a online newspaper from Chile. Its director is a journalism, his name is Mirko Macari. The website of El Mostrador is http://www.elmostrador.cl/ and it is on the network since year 2000.

People who post in El Mostrador, write about politics mainly. Sometimes this media talks about sports or culture, but this happens when the topic is a public interest.

This website is a very useful tool to Journalism because writers of El Mostrador show us another versions of different news. There are different points of views, they are not in the same position of La Tercera (http://www.latercera.com) or El Mercurio (http://www.emol.com)

Personally I like this website because it allows to compare some postures about lots of topics, and El Mostrador explains a lot of news that it doesn't appears in the others media! For example, this newspaper published a note about the current Minister of Energy of Chile, Laurence Golborne. This note took his decision when he was a Manager of Cencosud and he decided to raise up the maintenance cost of Jumbo (supermarket) Card.

Here we have the link of that report: http://www.elmostrador.cl/noticias/pais/2011/01/05/justicia-condena-a-jumbo-por-practicas-anticonsumidores-cuando-golborne-era-gerente-general/
It is in spanish. Obviously El Mercurio and La Tercera said Who Cares!

The Siamese Director

Hello there. I'm gonna write about two genious 'peliculastas', a couple of mutant dudes: Coen Bros. Yes, like Mario and Luigi, believe it!
Joel & Ethan Coen are the Siamese Director or Bicephalous director. They are two of my favourite film makers. Their movies are about common people and little problems. They always have fine humor and irony.
Coen brothers show us characters very representative citizens of USA, for example The Dude (Jeff Bridges) from the movie The Big Lebowski is one of the stereotype of LA. H.I. McDonnough (performed by Nicolas Cage) in Raising Arizona is another typical character of the state of Arizona. In addition, this guy have inspired another ones like Earl Hickey from the TV serie ‘My Name is Earl’.
Curiously lots of actors have said that Joel & Ethan give the same instructions each one alone. It is like his brain was only one! wawaweewah!

This guys won prices too. They won Golden Globes and Oscars Awards. Their winnner films by Academy are Fargo -1996- (Best Screenplay – Original, Best Actress -Frances McDormand-) and his movie most winner: No Country for Old Men -2007- (Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay – Adapted, Best Supporting Actor -Javier Bardem-).

Coen Brothers are cool, however who cares!
